Overview
Laser cutting is the ideal way to achieve high
levels of detail and maintain close tolerances.
Unlike hand made parts, laser cut parts can be
produced consistently and efficiently. The ‘nesting’ of parts within a cutting program greatly
reduces scrap, which lowers the cost per part.
Capabilities & Limitations
Dancraft has an 80 watt laser with a
cutting area of 24” x 48”. Our laser can
cut acrylic, styrene, coroplast, and petg
up to 3/16”thick, with a maximum
finished part size of 23” x 47”. Beyond
these parameters; if you can draw it, we can cut it!!
Dancraft can convert most vector files
including BMP, JPEG, DXF, DWG, and Corel Draw.
You can provide the vector file to us for the job,
or we can create the drawing from your sample
part or sketch (program charges may apply)
Some examples of laser cut acrylic parts are shown in the next image.
Whether you need one piece or a run of
10,000, no job is too big or small!
